HOW DOES IT WORK?

What items do you accept?

Your CLEAN, unwanted, undamaged clothing, shoes and accessories. While we accept fast fashion basics (tees, tanks, etc.) they will most likely be sold at our pop-up events, rather than online. The jewelry, books, household items and decor we sell are sourced by us for reselling. You'll note that there is a google form to fill out when you order your Rehoming Kit; it exists in order for us to make this a curated experience for everyone.

What's the process?

1- You order your rehoming kit. 2- We mail you the kit, which contains a 24" x 24" bag, a mailing label and a printout or two. 3- Clean out your closet, fill up the bag, slap the label on and send it to us! 4- We will go through your items and photograph and list the ones we want to sell online. Some items will go directly to pop-up events. 5- As soon as one of your items is published, your back-end vedor space will be activated. You'll be notified by email when this happens and, by logging in, you'll be able to track your inventory.

How many Rehoming Kits can I order?

As many as you'd like!

Can I use my own packaging to send in items?

Absolutely! You'll pay the same amount as you would in order to receive a poly mailer from us, but you can stick that label on your own box or bag.

Can I sell with you if I live in the US?

Perhaps eventually but, for now, unless you're visiting Quebec and can arrange for a drop-off, we can only send postage labels to Canadian residents.

What happens to the items you don't sell?

When you order your Rehoming Kit, you can also reserve a Return Kit for any items that don't sell within 6 months. Should you choose not to purchase this option, we will donate your clothing to local homeless shelters and to Fripe-Prix Renaissance, which is owned by Goodwill, and provides employment to individuals who face challenges in mainstream workforces.

Will you ever apply discounts to me clothing?

Not arbitrarily. That said, if an item doesn't sell within 3 months, we will lower the price by 25%. If after 4 months, it still doesn't sell, we will take another 25% off. That said, we will be showcasing items at monthly pop-up events, so they are more than likely to sell. Any other discounts or promos added to the site will be on us, and not up to you to absorb.

How will I be paid?

Right now, our system works with paypal. You'll be able to access all of this from your Homeroom (customer dashboard). We will look into other payment methods over the course of this summer and let you know what we come up with in our newsletter and through Homeroom messages.

Can I redirect my payout to a charity?

For sure! You'll find a list of charities we support at the bottom of our page; should your prefered one not be there, reach out and we can add them!

Do you take returns?

Yes we do! You have 14 days to return items. You'll find the link to insitgate one at the bottom of our page. Canadians: For returns over $100, we'll cover shipping. Anything below can be sent to us for a flat rate. US Residents: You can return items to us (within 14 days) but you must cover the shipping costs.

Where do you ship to?

For now, we ship to Canada and the US. Sign up for our newsletter to find out when this will change!

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package directly on our website or through the shipping carrier's website.

How soon will items be shipped?

We ship twice a week, for now.
